Early childhood is the foundation for lifelong learning. To promote healthy development and learning in the first year of life, infants need a nurturing and safe environment to explore. Through active, hands-on play, focused on developmentally appropriate activities, this 60 minute monthly class provides an opportunity for infants to develop social, language, cognitive and motor skills with the support of their adult.

For Bebé Y Yo Infantil, both Spanish speakers and second language learners welcomed!

Dinner Add-on: 5:15-6:00pm
Enjoy dinner and meet girls form other scout troops before your badge event! Bean Sprouts will cater a dinner of pizza, salad, appetizers/snack and drinks. There will even be a dessert table! Must register for the dinner option by at least 4 business day prior to the event day. Fee is $13.00 per person plus tax.

Discover how engineers brainstorm, build models, and test their ideas when building cars. Scouts will build and test their own model cars in different terrain and learn how the friction of different surfaces affect the speed of their model car. Each scout will be able to take home their own model car they build! Upon completion of the event each participating scout will earn and receive their Mechanical Engineering Model Car Design Challenge Badge. Registration fees are $25 per scout. The registration includes one free adult with each paid scout.

Use your special Homeschool Day passport to engage in different art activities all over the museum to earn stamps and an exclusive Kidspace Homeschool Day pin. In a special program just for homeschool students at 1:00pm, take a closer look at transformations in art, learn how different cultures around the world use masks to turn into different characters and use movement to tell a story. Program fee is $15, which includes admission for one student and one adult into the museum for the whole day and admission to the program at 1:00pm. Additional child/student admission for the program may be purchased for $11 each.

Join us in discovering how Mechanical Engineering works. Scouts will be able to learn about forces that affect flying. Each scout will create a Fling Flyer to take home and understand how different forces life lift, drag, thrust and gravity in order to have a plane fly in the air! Upon completion of the event each participating scout will earn and receive their Mechanical Engineering Fling Flyer Design Challenge Badge. Registration fees are $25 per scout. The registration includes one free adult with each paid scout.

¡Por medio de actividades y juegos interactivos aprenderá a proveer a su bebé con las herramientas necesarias para desarrollar habilidades de lenguaje, sociales, cognitivas y motoras! Esta clase de 60 minutos se ofrece el último viernes de cada mes.

Bebé y Yo Infantil, invita a participantes hispanohablantes y a todo aquel que deseé aprender un segundo idioma.

Join us in discovering how Mechanical Engineering works. Scouts will be able to learn how to use a combination of different simple machines to make a compound machine to help lift different objects. Each scout will create a Crane to take home and explore how simple machines and compound machines work in order to lift objects! Upon completion of the event each participating scout will earn and receive their Mechanical Engineering Crane Design Challenge Badge. Registration fees are $25 per scout. The registration includes one free adult with each paid scout.
